I Sit And Hope Poem by Eric Mwenda

I Sit And Hope

Rating: 5.0

And hope
hope
that you my love,
doesn't get snatched,
like a chick from the chicken,
stolen away by pradators

That you my dear
will lock the doors in time
when am away,
so the predators,
those coveters
of my sweet fruit,
doesn't eat in my wake
or drink from my cup

My love
i sit hoping,
and hope
That when path is dark
with despair,
when no strength
be left in you,
that you will turn to the light
of our laughter,
and you will bask,
in sun of dreams we share.

I sit and hope
my love,
i sit and hope

A lovely poem beautifully penned in poetic diction. Lovely is a spiritual experience the affects couples in-love profoundly. However, it is also whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and may leave without warning. Love needs careful nurturing and commitment for its bliss to endure. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem. MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
