I Shall Continue Writing Worthless Poems
Writing a poem is not a craft,
If a man inside has a poetic heart,
If a man is born with eyes so deep,
Through opaque deep inside he can peep,
What is loudly told is heard by all,
A poet responds to a silent call.
He smiles with others with others he cries,
Swims with mermaids with the birds he flies,
He can put himself into enemy's shoes,
He understands very well his enemy's views,
With customs and taboos he's ready to fight,
God has given him a lovely insight,
And above all is a man of deepest thoughts,
He writes a poem that wins the hearts.
Nothing I have, still write, do you know why?
I know my worth but I love to fly,
Behind night birds for the moon of sky,
I may be crazy but at all not shy,
Why to shy for love, I'm bold in it,
I know I'm not glittering gold in it,
I know where from I get hates and dislikes,
But I don't know the source where from I get likes,
My silent lovers I salute your affection,
You hidden hits wipe out my dejection.
As long you like and love and inspire,
As long my substandard verses you admire,
I shall go on flying and dreaming for the moon,
Life smiles in dreams and smile is a boon.
With my worthless poems I shall fight the thwarts
As I have a heart that is filled with thoughts.
a poet's mind is definitely different and its roaming always....i like it
Poems are outcome of thought.. a thought that is for the whole world and it goes point to circle...although like or dislike basically the subject of reader, , , out of the hand..for hobby no lobby in need..thank you beautiful poem
Sir, I have read many of your beautiful poems. I really loved reading it. Your poems speaks, you write with passion. Anything done with passion should never be stopped. I had many failures and painful situations in my life, especially one after another. Sir you have more experience than many of us. You can give much to this world. This is quiet depressing line...... I don't want to die in hates. Keep writing Sir. You write very well. Some poems are liked, some poems may not be liked.It depends on how readers wish to take..Let us leave it to readers how they wish to take.
Akhtarji, who said you write worthless poems....? All the poems cannot always have the same level... Some may be a little inferior... but most of your poems are a delight to read... So keep writing and let us enjoy your poems on beauty, romance, adventure and poems denouncing war and other social evils! A man of your experience has much to give to the world!

There is NOTHING worthless about the power of words, nothing substandard about the ability to express yourself in a creative manner that bares unique expressions of understanding. I normally despise poems about poets and poetry as I feel it is a self consuming genre, but this was deeply moving, and filled with a meta analysis of yourself, that bared humor, humility and honesty. The three things I enjoy in a good write. Consider me a source where you get a like,
