I Shall Care Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Shall Care

Rating: 5.0

She did not budge
And I failed to judge
With her refusal
And dismissal

I should be little considerate
As she was ready to relate
Her views with sympathy
I too was glad and ready

She would often refuse
And choose to resist
The she will relent for some freedom
That was granted seldom

Her face may turn red
As if she wanted to be led
Swing in arm
And be little warm

"I shall take your care"
I will often dare
She will close eyes
Much to my surprise

I then held her in magic spell
She may refuse to tell
But offer sweet smile
I shall too then swim for while
