I See Your Face Poem by J.B. LeBuert

I See Your Face

I see your face before me now
I guess the end is close at hand
My last breath will somehow
Breathe life into this dying land

I see your face before me now
Will I last another day
Free at last, of this I vow
To join with you, another way

I see your face before me now
What does this really mean
Should I come to disavow
These magi, in this crazy scene

I see your face once again
It's been such a long hard climb
Since I've writ paper with a pen
And now I must, end this rhyme
Because it has been said
I've just run out of time
