I See You Crying Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

I See You Crying

Have you walked alone amidst the lilies?
The place where life becomes your true love
When songs grow like roses
The sea rings with angels
Chimes of the changing winds
Tenderness in the heart of real friends

I see you hide lying alone
We fellowship with coverings
We cover our hearts but they rebel
Maybe you are gone for good
Maybe the truth has a sharp sword
Wild blueberries growing in the forest

A dark blue blanket with vines
Draperies sigh with elves
You write in the night
When biography shines in metaphor
Keats knew the winter
My eyes touch your legs

I see you crying, shall I turn away?
