I See A Rainbow Poem by Annette Liliann

Running down the alley...escaping from the eater of my soul,
looking down to the ground..all i see are pebbles...
stumbled, down, rolling, stop and finally lying down but looking up...
A rainbow arched gracefully in the sky...
Ribbons of colors...amidst the golden cloudy sky....immersed me in memory...
There’s a promise...
I would never be left alone...I would never be abandoned...
I would never be casted away...
Those big eyes above...knows all, every tears, every unspoken agonizing lamentation...
Those big hands above...reaching to me, take me to his embrace, to his loving presence...i am his...
I dont go hunt for pot of goldens at rainbow’s end....
I need only Him...the one who arched the rainbow in the sky...
his words soothed my painful wounds..
his majesty frightened the eaters of my soul..and they fled...away

I see a rainbow today...tears still streamin’ out like a river...but i am running home, i dont stop...till i see his face again, my loving dearest King...
