I Sang Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Sang

I ran,
And I sang.
I loved the clouds going fast.
I drank love at last.
I ran even further,
And further than that.
I smiled at you,
And you at me.
I slept so reassuringly.
I ate that sweet food,
However, much I could.
I chased the paper boat,
Going around on the moat.
I drove that car fast.
It's speed did last.
I love all of you.
That will just have to do.
I am so happy.
I am so happy.
