I Rub Eye Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Rub Eye

I rub eye.

Under cloud I stop
Shadows long

In front entry
I watch, walk
Pitch is dark

In the cave I stop
See the light; external
People go, few come
Stealthy, I smile

Terrorized on the run
One covered holds a knife
I nail me to the wall
Question “is Criminal? ”

With tricks first used mind
In the mines, latter one
Heat, sharpened the metal

Working hard underground
Exploited and deprived
Second one took the knife.

In the beds sun, sky
Nebulous; all cloud
Yester-years until now

Bowl of soup, steams up
Bears fly, bees on walk
Ants grow, dinosaurs
Wolf, Ram, lam and lions
Herd of goats a mammoth

Should I live?
Oedipus of Freud
The Mirror of Lacan
Confused; I rub eye.
