I Remember You Poem by Yolanda Erickson

I Remember You

When I remember you, as morning fills the bowl,
The sheer delight of you__can captivate my soul.
I'm warm with love, my heart is full, with visage just for you.
Our path bees set, to walk as one, in lifelong joy and rue.
Through our one hope, we closer be and still's a mystery.
When I remember you, in noon day light, I see.

Should I remember you, as evening steals the day,
I breathe a silent smile, while fancy's muse holds sway.
I hear your step, I touch your hand, in oft imagined dream.
Our mortal breath, one heart, our song, is far too dear to feign.
Perhaps to sleep, and yet I find your laughter sings to me.
Should I remember you, as night winds sigh__my plea.
