I Read A Small Poem Of Wordsworth

I READ A SMALL POEM OF WORDSWORTH

I read a small poem of Wordsworth,
Far greater than any of mine-
The greatest Ambition is not great enough,
To make God’s higher light shine.

Small poems and long poems All suffer birthing pains When words just wont express What's on the writer's chest. But finally, an inspiration Which cannot the poet shun And words flow so freely As if from a dam has sprung. Yet the rhyme isn't quite right (Tho you try with all your might) But the essence is there to see That the words have set you free. s
