I know you need to go
This I won't deny
And I refuse to slow you down
So my concerns and thoughts I will hide
I don't want you to think twice because of me
This is something that you want AND have to do
Show I'm not gonna show my worry when you're around,
And my tears won't show in front of you
I don't want you to go far away
Or leave without saying goodbye
I don't want to be forgotten
Or simply tossed aside
I don't want you to give up on me
Or be gone for too many years
But you're not gonna give up what you want to do
Because of my unimportant worries and fears
I'll miss you while your gone...
Think of you every day...
Maybe dream some dreams of you...
Mention your name when I pray
I'll love you day in and day out
More with each passing day
Be anxious for every time you call me
'I Love You' I promise I will say
I'm so scared because that time is coming
It feels as fast as a freight-train
Every second my fear grows
Without you here, it's not gonna be the same
Not seeing you in the hallways
Or you not being able to walk me to class
My heart is going to feel just as fragile
As a thin piece of glass
I'm going to feel so alone
Even with hundreds of people around
I won't be able to hear your voice in person ever day
Which to me, is the sweetest sound
I don't care what anyone says
They're gonna have to wake up and see
That nothing can tear our true love apart
And that I'm in love with you and you're in love with me
So while you're gone in college
I won't leave, betray you in any way, or do anything to hurt you
