I Only Want To Know You

As the moth immolates itself
knocking its head
against the glass shield
of the light bulb
to reach the secret
of it's live wires...
So, too, am I drawn towards you
knocking my head
against the implacable shield
set up by you
to protect the secret
of your life-wires.
