I Name - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

I Name - Lincoln Park Zoo

I'm Izumi, snow monkey, from
Japan, now at Lincoln Park Zoo.
My new born baby girl has come.
Her name, Iwaki, did come through,
Becuz that was the name I chose,
By tapping the computer screen,
Of listed 'I' names that arose,
From Japanese cities - how keen!
That's tradition for me and mine,
Even in the computer age,
To distinguish all of my line,
With Mom of course at center stage.

Outside, humans flocked all about.
I had to concentrate - no doubt!
