I Miss You Poem by Ajinkya Sawardekar

I Miss You

One the first page of our story everything seemed so right
We promised to always be at each others side
Together we promised to sail thousand oceans unknown
To build a beautiful castle of our own
But suddenly life took a bad turn
And I watched the same castle of our own burn

I know I have made some huge mistakes
But honey trust me I always knew what was at stake
I miss all the sweet things we dont talk about
I hate the fact that I can't reach you out

I am alone, I feel like a lost star
I miss you taking me into your loving arms
I miss lying awake and watching you sleep
Watching you lost in your peaceful dreams
I knew honey the day you slipped away
All the things wont ever be the same again
Now I stand here in the silence of my scream
Walking all alone in this boulevard of broken dreams

All my songs still have your name
But honey they no longer sound the same
Now they are just a bunch of words without any meaning
Cuz you were the voice and the reason I was singing

Honey you know what I miss the most, I miss saying how much i love you
Saying how much I wanted to live our dream with you
But now you are living your dream with another guy
And I hope you get all the happiness you desire
I hope for you all your favourite songs he sings
And make everyday like its the first day of spring

Enough of this I know now nothing really matters as such
But if you ever miss me sweety, the person who loved you so much
Just smell the fragrance of sweet rose
Cuz you were the same fragrance in my life my love.
