I Miss You Poem by Caleb Jones

I Miss You

Rating: 2.0

I miss the look of innocence in your eyes
The way your soft brown hair would fall
I miss the power of your kiss
We were in love
But girl most of all
I miss you

You were the one
That my heart trusted
That my soul confided in
The one I felt safest with
You knew just what to say
To make me smile and laugh again
You brought the life back in

I miss the light you brought into my life
Your stunning and forever shining smile
Those hazel eyes
I miss your soft, gentle voice
Especially in lonely times I’m feeling now
Saying, “Everything’s gonna be alright”

You were the one
That my heart trusted
That my soul confided in
The one I felt safest with
You knew just what to say
To make me smile and laugh again
You brought the life back in

I miss all those times
I miss those nights
I even miss our mini fights
I miss the making up
I miss the late night talks
Even those afternoon park walks

You were the one
That my heart trusted
That my soul confided in
The one I felt safest with
You knew just what to say
To make me smile and laugh again
You brought the life back in
