I met a new friend today
She was sweet and she wasn’t hay
We have talked a little so maybe she’ll stay
I actually don’t know her but what should I say

I met a new person today
Out of nowhere we just met today
I waited to talk to her, I was in delay
Maybe we meet again maybe in May

I met a new girl today
Like all the others she probably think I’m gay
But now my world got a new colour, not just grey
Though the moment could just be a stray
