I’m Undone
Pin drop silence is all around
The earth is asleep in the dead of night.
Restless am I, cannot close my eyes
As if I’m in the moon...
Feeling so much so alone.
Deafening silence is so fearsome
But cannot help, I’m undone.
A homeless bird is cooing at far
making the silence of night more intense by far.
She also might be losing her mate
lost her love, cannot sleep but wail.
In the misty sky the moon with a haze
Gazing at me with a gloomy face.
She says 'oh'my dear don’t lose your heart
Your beloved is with us here.
She sees you, feels you but cannot go
Don’t shed tear, it pricks her most.
Go and sleep it’s too late at night
She will be there by the window side'.
Pin drop silence is all around
As if I’m in the moon...
Feeling so much so alone.
Intense feelings of loneliness in the still of the night so beautifully written!
