I'm,Too Happy

I’m walking down the street, I’m happy
I’m looking at the world, I’m happy
I’m writing this poem, I’m happy

I have failed in everything, I’m happy
For there is something that I’ve done in everything

I get one meal a day, I’m happy
For I know how an empty stomach feels but I also know how does a full stomach not feel

I’m sad yet, I’m happy
For I know what it is to be sad and happy at the same time

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
