I'M Sorry God If I Offended Poem by JoAnn McGrath

I'M Sorry God If I Offended

Rating: 5.0

I'm sorry God
If I offended
Making light
of what you intended
Every creature
that you made
with loving care
I betrayed
I wasn't thinking
I must confess
I'll try next time
and not regress
I must admit though
You gave us minds,
emotions to laugh,
and eyes not blind
Everything that you do
I look at with awe
Such wonders you created
My remarks I must withdraw
You created me, though,
in the image of You
So I just presumed
You had a funny bone too
Please wash me clean
of the sin I'm in
(but leave the funny bone
so I can still grin: O})
