I finally got it out
Made my voices of insecurity shut up
Long enough to tell you
Only to find that you don't feel it
And I know you care
Because you are worried
About how I feel
But I sit here crying
Wondering why you can't love me
Your heart is cold and hurt
Pieces of it chipped and thrown away
No tears run down your face
No love fills your heart
What do I see in you
Because no one sees it in you
Why would they see anything in you
What do I see?

I don't know what that is
All I know is it's you
Stupid general reasons do no good
There's nothing I can say
I love you as my friend

After high school

I can't imagine losing you
