I'M So Much More Than This Poem by Libby Simpkins

I'M So Much More Than This

Rating: 5.0

I'm so much more than this
Eye to eye with crystal clear glass
Shameful reflections have no mercy
Skirting between bottles of burning liquid
bloodshot eyes glare in desperation
I’m so much more than this
Painful past and pitiful future
gulps of sorrow mending a heart
Cling of a glass and an ease of mind
blanket of warmth with a devils pillow
I’m so much more than this
