I'M So Lonely Poem by Emma R. Kessler

I'M So Lonely

I'm so lonely
Without you baby
No one tells you that if you're falling in love
You have to fall into something
And I'm crashing towards the end of the fall
You're no longer there to catch me
As I'm sailing toward the bottom
I see my fall ends in concrete
I'm screaming toward the ground
But my voice gets sucked to nothing
I'm falling down, down, down
Baby

Today he gave me hope
I started hammering at the concrete
Pavement in big shattered pieces
But I tripped into the mess
And I got skewered by the wreck
I'm bruised and bleeding
And it stings, stings, stings
Baby

I kept pounding at the pieces
And they keep breaking down to dust
I still fall but today I fell into the
Powdered concrete memories
I choke on clouds of dust
But I stand up
Breathing
And I feel good, good, good
Darling
