I’m scared,
They’ll see through my lies
I’m scared,
They’ll see the cracks in my mask
I’m scared,
They’ll see the scars
I’m scared,
They’ll see the tears I cry
I’m scared…

I’ve tried so hard to hide myself
But maybe if I open up to someone,
They might help me out of this mess
Unlike my dear mum,
But…

I’m scared,
Of what people will think
I’m scared,
Of feeling vulnerable
I’m scared,
Of the disappointment
I’m scared,
Of trusting myself and them
I’m scared…

What if they don’t help?
What if I fall deeper?
What if I continue like this?
What if I become weaker?
What if…

I’m scared,
Of my thoughts
I’m scared,
Of what I do
I’m scared,
Of what I might do
I’m scared,
Of myself
I’m scared…
