I'm not ready to backdown
i'm not ready to quit this fight
Not ready to tell you to get the hell out of my life
I feel obligated to keep trying
to let you push me down, like you always do
But i'm not ready to go down on you

I'm not ready to say goodbye
Not ready to move on
After all its you who gave me life
I'm not ready to give up
Not ready to admit i've lost
I'm not going down with out a fight
After all it's i who controls my life

I'm not ready, no i'm really not
I'll keep crying tears and holding on
Of the memories of the good years
And i'll keep trying to show you that i was always here
No matter everyone else's advice, your still my mother
And i've got to try
