I'M Not Perfect Poem by Innocent Seilane

I'M Not Perfect

Rating: 5.0

They strive for perfection
I strive for true humility,
Selflessness and honesty
Yet i'm not perfect
Although i might seem as
An outcast gliding unto oblivion
I'm not perfect to a sense of
Poise, purerity and social class.

Perfectionists are phylosophers
Searching for reality inside
A deep, dark void of suffering
Pain and closed wounds of
Patriots of humanity thus
I'm not perfect
I might belong to a commoner
Culture but i'm differrent
And differrent means differrence.

Through my endeavours for
A better life i'm cursed
For being successful and
Success in not modesty it's
Living life to the full
Mordant people kill for their
Perfection, but do they die to
Perfection?

In all my grief and complaints
I've not reached perfection nor
Is it my priority, perfection
Is greed with a positive persona
Which devaours those who go
On quests for it and end up in
Miserable and regretful states
And in all of this still i remain
Still i'm not perfect

I LOVE YOU POEM MAN! SEEKING PERFECTION IS INDEED A STATE OF DENIAL! WE ARE ALL BORN WITH A VOID THAT ONLY LIFES WALKS WILL FILL THE EMPTINESS! BEING OURSELVES IS THE BEST PERFECTION ATTAINED YET! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! AM IRENIO BERO AND YOU CAN CHECK OUT MY POEMS!
