I'M Leaving
I think it's time to move on
don't think about me when i'm gone.
I still love you but it can't be
it wouldn't work you and me.
We had some good times, some good memories.
I will never forget about you, and never forget about me
We had a good love, a family
but now it's time to move on, it just has to be.
This poem is definitely well written, you can really feel the emotion in the narrator's voice. It's kind of bittersweet, talking about the good memories but how it wouldn't work anyway.. It had a really good flow, I really enjoyed reading it!
This is very good, Amber. I am a touch confused, because there is a mixed message of 'dont think about me' and 'dont forget me', but all in all, very good. Sort of bittersweet, for no reason other than loss is painful, but acceptance and closure is beautiful. I've written some new things, if you would like to have a look at them, that would be great :) keep writing.
