I'm In Love With My Stalker Poem by Gavin Turner

I'm In Love With My Stalker

I’m in love with my stalker

I find her unreal

She has an exotic psychotic appeal

I wait in the dark

Sitting close by the phone

Making sure that she knows

I am in on my own

When she drives by my house

and peers in through the glass

A professional predator

Out of my class

I keep all her letters

Framed over my bed

Penned in spatters of blood

wishing that I was dead

I’m in love with my stalker

She’s really the best

But I must keep these feelings

Inside and repressed

Maybe one day I’ll phone her

Perhaps we might speak

I am sure we’ll get on

She is my kind of freak

Although she’s deranged

And a bit on the edge

Proclaiming her love

From up high on that ledge

I just can’t help my feelings

I’m really obsessed

I’m falling in love

with the sexiest pest

I’m in love with my stalker

I know its not right

But I really can’t wait

till she comes round tonight

I unlock all the doors

And pretend I’m in bed

I hear footsteps and giggle

with ominous dread

When face with the danger

I won’t show my fear

and if I’m still alive

we’ll get married next year
