~i'M Going Home~ Poem by E Nigma

~i'M Going Home~

Rating: 5.0

Forward, I go
Willing, waiting
For a smile
To show then walk away

Heartache, laughter
Symptoms, unknown
Calenders burn
While these pictures fade

Ask me, what's wrong?
Answer, what's right?
So long, farewell
I no longer count the days

Small room, big cage
This stage, next maze
Side shows displayed
Are you not entertained?

The poem centres round a special mood of painful resignation! Ask me, what's wrong? Answer, what's right? Very poignant question and answer! The attempt to find out what is wrong leads to a more depressing question.... 'What is right'! This question and counter question contain within them a whole world of meaning!
