I'M Going Back To Chattanooga Poem by Joy Thacker

I'M Going Back To Chattanooga

I left my home in Chattanooga- In the wonderful state of Tennessee- After many years I realize- That's the only place for me- I'm going back to Chattanooga- I'll board the plane today- -I am so delighted- I am going home to stay- I bought a lovely home- Not far from Cousin Bill- -It's away out in the country- And high upon a hill- The house sets in the center- Of a nice large fenced-in lot- I'll plant my corn and beans- In the corner garden plot.
