I’m Child Of A Poor Poem by Arfa Iris

I’m Child Of A Poor

Rating: 5.0

I am child of a poor.
i ask for no delicious dishes,
i enjoy my dry bread.

i ask for no branded clothes,
m satisfied with old and ragged.
i ask for no toys,
i play with myself.

i ask for no mattress,
i sleep on ground.
i ask for no comforts,
i have most of my needs.

i ask for no entertainment
i get amusement in nature.
i am child of a poor
i don't ask for much..

all i ask is education and safety.
even that i don't get.

Expression of inner feelings which takes the readers to the harsh realities of life. Well written, well expressed.

'I am child of a poor. i ask for no delicious dishes, i enjoy my dry bread i ask for no branded clothes, m satisfied with old and ragged.' Yes very heartrending poem. Good flow of thought. the above lines are very moving. It's very sad to know there poor children who don't get minimum facilities. I congratulate you for selecting an universal theme. Cheers for the poetess!

What pity! The child of India has attained sainthood and just asking for education. This class disparity should be abolished. Education is a birth right! Awakening poem.
