I’m Aware, I've Awakened

I’m aware of my lips
all the time, aware of
fingertips, everywhere, I’m
aware of myself, for the
first time, aware of
everything, from my head
down, I’ve awakened from
a very deep sleep, I have
been kissed like a Sleeping Princess
after sleeping a hundred years,
your love will keep me alive
for a hundred more

Poem of the Day

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;

Before we grow old and die.
