I'M African Poem by Angelo Mitchell

I'M African

I'm African
cause I know who I am
I'm African cause my color represent me
I'm African cause of my African History
I was born in America,
but I still consider myself African
I'm African cause my ancestors show me the way
I'm African cause of my nose
I'm African cause of my lips
African is born within
by obeying the laws of matt
I don't live in sin.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
