I'm A Man, I Am Poem by Randy McClave

I'm A Man, I Am

Rating: 4.5

I'm a Man, I am
But what does it prove
Does it prove to you,
That I'll always believe in you.
I'm a Man I said
Coming from my head
I'm a Man I dreamed
But what does that mean,
Does it mean I'll always be right
For that I don't know
Does it mean I am ready to fight
For I Don't know
Lord, I just don't know.

I'm a Man, they agreed
And that I'll always be
I'm a Man, I shouted
And sometimes it cant be me,
For sometimes I'll need someone else
Sometimes I'll need your help
To stand beside me and help me fight
And sit beside me and help me cry.

I am a Man they say
Until my dying day
I am a Man, I cried
But still a boy, deep inside,
For sometimes I will be wrong
And sometimes I will be strong
And sometimes, oh sometimes,
I cannot be a Man.
