' I'M A Man....But I Cry '

Rating: 2.8

I'm a man...but I cry......

Step back,
listen to me,
try to understand what I have to say.

We need to stop and take a look at where this thing is going.
I can't take the thought of loosing you, with my heart never knowing.
Love is hard, and it is my fault that I am never showing,
the way I feel for you,
desire you,
want you.

Sometimes to discard all the pain,
I stand out all alone in the rain,
knowing that my love for you, has made me go insane.

These tears are calling out,
I’m sorry, I don’t mean to pout.
You did this to me, I was blind but now I see.
You made me weak you made me cry,
you were you and I was I,
making this veridical truth into a lie.

When we first met,
I didn’t know how to express my feelings inside,
I’m not sure if it was fear, or just my jealous pride,
but now it’s time to let you know,
that I want our love to grow.

So sad, so lonely, so desperate I’ve turned.
I have become weak,
for this thing that I’ve yearned.

If you could see me now,
you would see my shy tears,
concealed behind my fears.
Yes I know it’s hard to believe,
That a man like me,
still needs a woman like you,
to do all the silly things that you used to do.

You say that I never want to spend time,
to be with you,
love you,
relate with you,
talk to you.

Now,
you can only see my silence, as a separation,
but the truth is my honey my dear,
sometimes silence is a sign of loneliness.

My silence has become my pain.
Now I find myself,
missing your voice,
wanting your touch,
needing your love.

No matter how much I try and try,
This one thing is true,
I can never stop loving you
I just hope you can realize this thing I do,

I’m a man, but I cry…
