I'M A Drifter

I have it in writing and it's been confirmed
It made no difference how much I squirmed
The tests were done and the consultant decided
That I am a drifter and completely misguided.
I make no plans and just drift through life
which causes great stress to my lovely wife
who is a great planner and thinks ahead
and just laughed at what the consultant said.
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written after seeing a consultant over problems with the heel of my foot which affected the way I was walking causing one foot to drift to the side. The consultant said I was a 'drifter' which made my wife and I roar with laughter.
