I'M 23 But My Minds Older Poem by Moses Samandar

I'M 23 But My Minds Older

Bigoted depression
Another man
Live until 100
Old man already
Life has been harsh
Living beyond my peers
No-one has seen my harshness
Or lived the harshness
Getting drunk on a Saturday night
While I was chased by police
Imprisoned in the life of hell
Bullied until Mental illness
No opportunities in the hood
Shook!
Not a chance in hell
I made life happen
Not anyone
Everyone gave up on me
I prevailed
Don’t mess with this
The harshness of life
I’m 23, but my minds older
