Tripping over my words
Clumsy in my thoughts
My bright smile tells it all
You’re blind to my transparency
My stomach twists and turns
I’m nervous you’ll find out
Being so close to you
Pushed me over the edge
I can’t get you out of my head
I want to grab your hand
Your eyes hold me back
I’m afraid if I try
I’ll never see your eyes again
I couldn’t handle that
That gorgeous smile
And the cute things you say
Haunt my thoughts
I over think everything you say
I try to find the hidden message
I try to find what I want you to say
“I love you too”
