I Love You (Too) Poem by TravisLee Williams

I Love You (Too)

When you loved me,
When you loved me,
You were lovely,
You, who loved me,
Did you love me,
Oh, my lovely?
'Sure I did'

Who is lovely?
'You (my) lovely',
I have drank from tainted pours,
Of words from {your} lips,
Of lies to {my} face
Of loving: and loving, no more

What does love leave,
When the love leaves,
And the lovely leaves leave thorns?
Nothing for me, does the love leave,
Save the thoughts of she who loved me,
She who said she loved me, (Swore!)

When will love leave,
When will love be,
Something that is happy,
For me,
Why'd you go and say,
You love me,
You didn't have to,
(Make me mourn)

You said you loved me,
But you lied,
Didn't have to,
When you swore:
(not only did you love me ;)
((but you loved me even more)) .

When did love leave,
And leave for me,
Nothing to do,
But to love-grieve,
(For she)
Who loved me,
(was my lovely) :

For She who loved me loves no more
