I Love You Poem by someone something

I Love You

Sweet memories of you
Are coming back to me
The tickle fight
Although it was unfair
How you had once said
You would always be there
That day at my Grandma's
Out on the porch swing
How I still wish
You were here with me
The way that I felt
When you held me close
I was glad it was you
And no one else
Hearing you say 'I love you'
When you said it I knew it was true
Oh how my heart breaks
For letting go of you
Why I ever did it
No one may ever know
But one thing is for sure
I really do love you
I may not have showed you then
But I sure as heck will
It not now
If not soon
I know I will
Sooner or later
But please remember this
I'll still love you
Forever
