I love life,
For the unrest and pain it showers me,
And the sorrows it bestows upon me.

I love life,
For the dark waters of trouble it inundates me,
And the hot blinding tears it engulfs me.

I love life,
For the fierce fires of suffering it subjects me,
And the sting of pain in heart it pierces me.

I love life,
For the fancied happiness it gives me,
And the lasting sadness it envelops me.

I love life,
For the excruciating distress it offers me,
And the affliction, misfortune it brings me.
