I Lost You Poem by Anna Hardin

I Lost You

Where are you?
Where did you go?
I hope you can hear me,
but how will I know?

You're lost in the world.
Lost forever to others,
but not in my mind.
I will ask my mother,
if she knows where you are.
She doesn't know so I will ask my brother.
If he doesn't even though I regret,
I will ask my grandmother.
She'll get mad that I am looking for you, I bet.

Where have you went?
Where did you go?
I hope you can hear me,
but how will I know?

I lost you before.
If you come back,
I will not lose you again.
Not a promise, but a threat, so don't you lack.

Where have you went?
Where did you go?
I hope you can hear me,
but how will I know?

I know you can hear me.
Maybe it's in my mind.
I know you love me.
If not I will remind.

Where have you went?
Where did you go?
I hope you can hear me,
but how will I know?
You are a part of me?
Yes or no.
No matter what, I'll always love you.
How much, they just don't know.
Nanny says she doesn't know why,
or how I stand you and that you should just go.
That's when you're here,
though.

My brother can't stand you,
though he has tried.
I will admit that,
a father's love, I have tried to buy.

You loved me back then,
So why not now?
You do love me? !
Then why aren't you here right now.

Where have you went?
Where did you go?
I hope you can hear me,
but how will I know?
