The pains there but fake smiles hide it,
tears run down your face but you're silent,
the blade touches your skin and leaves scars,
the flame is light but burns,
memories of the past paralyze,
old feeling locked in a box,
the monster inside you is loosening its chains,
shadows in the night haunt you,
the thoughts in your head racing,
slowly killing you,
questions unanswered leave you insane,
danger lurks in every corner,
taking your breath away,
dreams are shattered,
trust is last,
hope is dead,
i'll forgive you but not forget...
