! I'Ll Carry You With Me ! Poem by Linda Ori

! I'Ll Carry You With Me !

Rating: 2.7

I'll carry you with me here in my heart
From now 'til forever, we never will part,
Though all that we hoped for is now in the past,
Your memory lingers -the mold has been cast;

I'll carry you with me each day from now on
Though miles lie between us and you may be gone,
You inhabit my dreams as you always have done,
Your memory lingers as bright as the sun;

I'll carry you with me in each precious thought
Remembering your smile and the joy that you brought,
My life has been touched by each gift that you gave
Your memory lingers from here to the grave;

I'll carry you with me wherever I go
Your love still surrounds me and grounds me I know,
And I can be happy just knowing you care -
Your memory lives in my soul everywhere.

Linda this one comes from a place of acceptance and unconditional love. The poem flows like peaceful stream and the colors of your words sparkle in the sunlight. I think D major would be the perfect key for this one. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

There is such beauty in the simplicity here, U write as Elizabeth Barrett Browning writes, you are so clear and a joy to read!

Midnight...your best work is well in progress, these past few weeks...Perhaps if i too take a 6 month sabatical from locating a pen....i'll finally find a publisher...and i can hang up my marketing tap-dancing shoes! Your command of capturing the poetic essence of passion, and poignance is stunning, Nurse Ori! If you become famous, remember that it was me who let you sit back & poetically vegetate for 6 months! lol! ! ! fjr **
