I Lived With An Angel Poem by Macwolls Kay

I Lived With An Angel

She was an angel sent from above,
Snow white wings and Golden halo,
They say she brought me to this world,
Guided me through my every move,
Cleaned me of my every spoil,
Got my little feet in action,
Picked me up at every fall,
Her soft spanking kept me on track.

She was an angle passing through,
Her brilliant smile a morning delight,
My unseen companion to school every morning,
My play companion when friends shunned.
Cleans me clean, nurses my wounds.

She was an angel by my side,
Read me a story to set me off,
And when I wake always by my side,
Her morning kiss, to start my day,
My favorite breakfast to keep me strong.

But then one day my angel was gone,
Out of sight, but not of mind,
They said she went to a better place,
I wonder why she couldn't stay,
She left my world cold and lonely,
But I know she will always be by my side,
She lives in my dreams, An unseen guest,
a silent listener,
She lives with me and always will.
