i like to build this bridge
between us
the river that divides us
is long and wide
and the waters rage like the fury
of the night
that fought against
the bright days
of my life
i like to build this bridge
between our minds
two continents divided by an ocean
seemingly
the shores
they're nowhere to be found
i like to build this bridge
let me just tell you that
before i finally take
my leave
