I Hear Voices Poem by Florence P. Wordsmith

I Hear Voices

Rating: 4.3

I hear voices in my head
Sometimes they tell me to do good things
Other times, not so much
I tried to ignore them at first
But it is so hard
When they are speaking all the time
When I try to sleep they are there
When I take a shower they are there
I don't know how to turn them off
I guess I'll just have to wait
Until my walkman runs out of batteries

great write....on the reality of our life...of being human very meaningful piece a guide to our day to day living food for our (sometimes) detached soul temptations are always whispering to us voices in our head sometimes lead us to do something unpleasant in the eyes of God.... and how we can control temptations until our body detached from our soul until our batteries goes empty but leaving voices of good things in our memory.. 10++

This is quite beautiful and creepy. I think the Walkman part was quite confusing. Is the voices music, or something else? I did quite enjoy this.
