I Have Heard It Said

Most of my life,
I have heard it said...
'It Is What It Is.'
And yet...
What it Isn't,
Seems to be occupying...
The minds of many people.
This is what is kept in their heads,
A 'What Is' that shouldn't be there.
With a 'What Isn't' getting the attention.
And perhaps that is why a doing,
Doesn't get done...
Like it should.
