I Hate Therefore I Am Poem by Draven Cestodio

I Hate Therefore I Am

Fists clenched i speed past all that i see
Like a caged animal I walk back and forth eyes wild or crazed
My legs carry me to an unknown place for i think of other things
I need something to let all of this anger out before it drives me insane
There a door nice and solid I let my fist fly through the panes
My adrenaline flares and I go after the strong center it splinters beneath my fist
But it is not enough So my mind races thinking of what to do next
Then it realizes old furniture that my father was going to break down outside
My legs go faster now knowing their destination
My foot snaps out breaking a panel off of the Tv stand
My palm tears through another
Feet and hands flying i make quick work of it
When it is done I notice the blood mingling between my fingers
But i don't care for i have gotten what i needed my hate sated
I retire and bandage my wounds
