I Hate Mob Law Poem by Francis Duggan

I Hate Mob Law

I hate mob law the mob can be so cruel
For 'tis not by the rule of law that the mob rule
I'd prefer to face a judge and jury any day
Than have the mob upon me have their way,
Weak minded people without compassion or regret
The mob have beaten many the one to death
I'd rather face a democratic court of law and have them decide my fate
Than have to face the angry mob with their unrestrained hate,
I hate mob law it deserves it's ill renown
Where the mob rules there is a lawless town
Too many people by them beaten to death or either left for dead
With serious injuries to bodily parts or injuries to the head,
All of the victims of the mob are dying or in their grave
And outside of the mob the mobster is not one known to be brave.
