H.J. Shreeve (26/5/1987 / Hobart, Tasmania)
I hate humans
Your face means nothing to me,
I don't want to be a part of the human race no more,
I'm fed up,
Stuck inside this cage of flesh and bone,
I hate cellphones, I hate cars,
I hate your stereotypical minds,
I hate your streets lined with shops.
Your cities make me sick,
I just have to look up to see hell,
I am not one of you,
I am something greater,
But destined to die and rot as you do.
Your programming makes no sense to me,
What is television, what is friendship?
Your likes and dislikes mean nothing to me,
I am ashamed to walk amongst you.
I'll serve my little purpose.
Be the little cog in your big machine,
Make money that brings no comfort,
Drugs that just use up time.
Reincarnation is so dark to me,
A lifetime in a cold cell,
Same as a lifetime in society.
I'm walking away now
I yearn to be free...
